Nope, meant to be self deprecating. No Offense intended.

Yeah Dennis Leary's comedy on his very best of day is a subpar version of Bill Hick's.
10-4. I saw ot both ways.

My thoughts... "Either i am being called an asshole or he is calling himself one."

Funny no matter what. :icon_cheers:

So pulled the T5 back out today it got stuck in 1st. That REM polished slider was way to far front. Pulled it apart found one of the peices of the shifter assembly was broken. So much for stronger than stock and the reverse and fifth shifter rod had the dowl bent.

I literally drove a half a mile...... whatever... thats what happens when you scavenge shit from 3 other T5s to make one good one.

Also that damn brand new Centric master cylinder or the brand new centric slave cylinder must have gone bad already....

I got it to bleed once.... now no pedal at all. Ill try a hand pump bleeder.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
This might work just as well as all that.

You'll need more than what you've got in that picture (and more time than just a day) to swap your 2.9 for a 3.0.
You know if I was a lesser man I'd have had my feelings hurt by that comment. But I'm not because my rangers powered by the 2.9 gods. I just pity your misguided soul.

Getting rid of my valve tick today if it kills me.
Not to sure how wiper blades will help with valve noise but if it works please ensure to include pics along with a detailed explanation. :icon_rofl: Good luck with limiting valve noise on a 2.9.

Sadly, it's the cam that caused it in mine. We'll see how a melling replacement holds up with FE block anti pump up lifters. Rumor has it that they're as loud as mechanicals, but um, I'm going to also be listening to either twin K04s or a T70 running, so idgaf? 🤷🏿‍♂️👍🏿✌🏿.

Guessing that's going to hold true for most flat tappet engines from here on out.... A couple oil changes with modern low ZDDP oils, and yep, no more cam.

Might I make a suggestion?

Why don’t you just move the cam out of the block and put separate ones in each head.
