You know if I was a lesser man I'd have had my feelings hurt by that comment. But I'm not because my rangers powered by the 2.9 gods. I just pity your misguided soul.
Not to sure how wiper blades will help with valve noise but if it works please ensure to include pics along with a detailed explanation.

Sadly, it's the cam that caused it in mine. We'll see how a melling replacement holds up with FE block anti pump up lifters. Guessing that's going to hold true for most flat tappet engines from here on out.... A couple oil changes with modern low ZDDP oils, and yep, no more cam.

on the plus side Ill have a second dd here soon so I can do my clutch swap and put a new cam in.
