Yup. They eliminated loss items from their menu. Had a Co worker that was former McDonald's manager. Their financial model is cool. Some menu items sold at profit, some sold at loss. Balances out by menu strategy.

So, when shit gets rough, operate at a minimum, sell only profit menu.
Lately been hitting McD's for breakfast on Mondays and Fridays since I go to PT at 7:00 am before work.

Playground Patriots.

I can see adults making decisions to not social distance, but I don't understand parents intentionally putting kids together on a playground to defy social distancing.

Don't you wonder if all the politicians and those in higher up positions who are pushing for schools to open, will let their own kids go back to school ?
Very first question I would pose to them..."are your own school age kids or your grand kids going back to school to mingle with their classmates" ?

Schools are done for the year here. Gov announced it more than a month ago, graduation is over with.

They are also pushing for people to get back to work yet voting on these matters from home...

Seems sketchy to me... seems like they are willing to sacrifice the lower class but not themselves.

That shouldn’t surprise you. That’s the way government works.

I'm sorry, but at what point in history, in any country, in any era, has this NOT been the case?

Rome never died. It just diluted....

In my state the barbershops and salons have been closed for going on three months and I'm working on a mullet. I started my vacation today. I'm a mortician. The wife just walked into the living room and says, "Hey, you do hair and makeup, right?" Yeah but it's not my strong suit, I don't usually do that. "Great, I'll get scissors and a comb!" Sat her on a chair in the back yard. It looks decent enough. At least if I screw up, her hair will grow back unlike my usual customers.

Next time, give her a Mohawk.

Trust me.

She'll love it.

I'm not one to really be "sickened" by much, but some of the bullshit parents nowadays force their children to do is just.. Awful.

These kids aren't even developed enough, or have enough understanding of our society or world to even have a "real" opinion or stance on these things.

It's all just indoctrination. These kids deserve better homes.

these douches are thoroughly rebuked. loudly. that is some seriously janky bs....

there was a time when they put all of the kids in one cage to let the strong survive...within my lifetime..

this particular sars...covid 19 deal....its not so solidly known, but based on current reported knowns.. i do see hypothetically where four or five years down the road or more the true costs will surface.

in this sense the danger to children may be much more then expected. looking at the hiv virus as a basis in the segment swap.

all reckless speculation of course.

based on the knowns as is.

it is clearly and patently not a one size fits all. not even in the same universe. if your healthy its ridiculous.

as said before...retired folks get paid to hide. the working world needs to work. so, those under retirement age that are compromised in some way...stay in your cage. no issues paying for that.

the rest of you. go to work. and masks when your not needing it on your head will do more damage then good when this shit comes back.

no typical mask stops biological pathogens. anybody thats gone through cse....bbp or has been viking fit tested knows the reality of that.
