New to the Forums but been a lurker for a long time, before I parked the Ranger a few years ago. I have done a ton of DIY projects learning my way through the great content on these pages! My 02 4.0L was purchased just before I graduated from college. Got a great 10+ years from it, but it’s been parked in the side yard for about 5 years with intent to sell or even donate, but could never get myself to part with it...
Fast forward to this past weekend when we finally got it cleaned up and moved out to the driveway... and my wife bought in to why I don’t want to let this great little truck go! So we officially decided it’ll stay in the family and it will be the first ride for our oldest when he turns 16 in a few years. Gives me some time to teach him through an electrical rebuild, the fun of working out why things aren’t working right, and all the other fun stuff most people aren’t willing to do themselves anymore!
So, I’m back on the forums and looking forward to working on my “old” truck again with a whole new goal in mind! Time for a new generation of Ranger owners to learn the ropes. Cheers!
