$1700 wouldn't be so bad for a 99, but with 200K that is high. We have a 99 Explorer 4-door manual trans with no power options on the lot where I work right now, they are asking $2500, but that's a dealer.

The 99 will have air bags, an electronic dash, and ABS. It may only be RABS, which in my already low opinion is even worse than 4-WABS.

Thanks adsm, most in that year with that mileage go for around a thousand or less I did email him and got it answer he says it's exceptionally good condition but who knows what that means. I'll have to go see it and we all know what I'll do with RABS,.
don't know why I'm so against airbags, my Safari van had airbags. I guess when air bags pop for any reason, your totaled anyhow.

My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
If you get a stang just go with a fox 302. Or SN95 with a 302.

My opinion.

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would possibly be opposed to the idea of a series of small explosive charges placed around the vehicle, most of which are positioned and designed to hit you in the face with something.
