So this past weekend I replaced my stock injectors with 17# ones. The truck has 223k on it. At the same time, I replaced my spark plugs and wires. I already checked and the wires are correct. The truck runs good, but my vacuum was down after the replacement. It usually idled at 19 inHg and now...

So I found this on www.ford-trucks.com this morning. It is a catalog showing all the different types of electrical connectors Ford uses along with the part numbers. With all the conversion people are doing on TRS, some of you may find this useful. Probably could hurt to download a copy anyway...

You could put a lot of horsies behind it without fear of breaking the axles... The only thing that comes to mind is the weight of each axle. You are gonna need some motor to get those spinning, especially for a DD. Also consider the increase in track width.

I am swapping an 8.8 28 spline into my ranger that has the 7.5. First off, are the axle tubes the same diameter? Second, I have new 9" brakes on my 7.5. Can I swap back plates to put those on the 8.8? I don't want to buy more brake crap, thats why I am voting against the 10" brakes. Thanks!

I want to take off my fender flares to paint them. Do the use those stupid clips you can't put back in after you take them out? Is there a trick to removing them? I don't want to paint them while they are on my truck. Thanks!
