  • yeah man it could be why you have water in your oil. I am really picky about my vehicle what ever it is. one day i noticed some moisture on my dipstick. really didnt pay it any attention it was a cool morning. over the next couple days the water got worse. so i did a pressure test on the radiator found the leak at the timing cover to block on the pass side. i went ahead and did the water pump, thermostat, hoses and fan clutch at the same time. also changed the oil & filter. about a days work, cleaning off the old gasket was the biggest pain in the ass. altogether went pretty smooth, i used black rtv on the oil pan and just cut off the front rubber. if you have any questions just holler at me.
