Yes sir, tear down and inspect 1st. Hoping it is just a bearing but knowing better lol. The kit has all bearings, seal and syncros, good idea to fresh all of that reguardless of main issue.

Where do I buy parts to rebuild this thing or is there a whole kit available? Thanks When put in reverse I go 5' and it stops like I hit a brick wall, and it's sluggish in forward. Dropped driveshaft, issue is definitely in the trans. Also had shaving dust on drain plug and only 1 qrt of fluid...

I have installed the C2309 AutoZone unit, No issues, slipped right in. I have a custom elec fan, no issues there either. No more leaks and seems to stay a little cooler. it definitely recovers quicker when I run it hard.

Did you install the larger one and did it drop right in? I have a 92 3.0 and need a new radiator as well.

Got up to a cracked radiator this morning. I do recall a post for upgrading to the Explorer unit, but I can't find it. Explorer or not just need the info on going to a better unit that my single core. This will be great for my next move with this truck

Yep, it sucks as with any unnatural death. But a snowmobile? Dam, I know they badass and all but come on... I think we all imagine him losing a tire at 120+mph and skidding off into a ravine or something but not a snowmobile .......
