Finally Got Around to Smoking...

my tail lights i thought maybe the idea of masking the clear reverse light was a good one so i gave it a go. i think it gives a nice clean look.

i think i saw a guy on TRS do them like that and i liked the look of it, i thought about and i thought the contrast of the black with the clear would look cool so i went for it.

i used rustoleum lens tint. it was like $12.99 at autozone, kinda pricey but worth it considering how well it does.

i'm pretty sure that it's illegal here, too. on my old ranger, the tails are totally blacked out, not smoked. you can barely see the light through them. some cops will get you for it, some won't, depends on how dick they're feeling that day lol

TN regulations say they can be tinted in the day light but at night they have to be uncovered that why the tint covers are removable... and most cops dont pay attention to them anyway.... how he left the clear reverse they wont even know

its illegal in CA, i got 3 tickets in one day for it. i used vht nightshades, and had the reverse light left clear... i liked the look of them, now that i sanded off the spray my tails look like complete crap.

Not sh1tting you.....niteshaded amber = illuminates RED at night. Talk about attention grabbing from the LEO...
