Do you have a tap and die set. They usually have a thread checker for sizing. Kind of looks like a comb.
My metric set doesn’t have anything that coarse in the thread checker, I usually borrow dads set for SAE if I don’t have what I need and haven’t tried that.
I’ll bet it’s still NPT or BSPT ( only difference is the angle of the threads ). They have both in straight and tapered.
3/8” NPT is too small and 1/2” NPT is too big, not sure if 7/16” NPT is a thing.
If you have a nut or bolt or stud you can go to any of the big box home improvement stors or Rural King or Tractor Supply and they have threaded holes and studs that are labeled that you can test fit your hardware.

That is an idea, I’ll have to throw one of the ends in the truck
Just take it to a hydraulic shop and ask for an adapter to JIC. You can use AN fittings and hose off that.
Yeah, I haven’t got to that yet

Parked it sideways in front of the garage door as an added windbreak for Ian as it comes right at us. (No, the Ranger will not fit in the garage. We tried.)

My in-laws live in Ft. Myers Beach / Estero Island… They went to visit relatives in Georgia.
They’re on the 5th floor of a tower, their only concern was power and food after the storm. They weren’t worried about flooding, although the 1st floor was completely under water earlier today.

A buddy of mine is down there for the SAR mission after the storm passes. He said there is a bunch of calls concerning people trapped in their attics. It sounds like they are going to have their work cut out for them. Internet has been sparse and limited. So he didn’t detail where the calls were from. At that time, he was just sitting in the staging location waiting for the storm to pass.

Our track photographer sent me this pic from our last race of the year 2 weeks ago. This one is shot about 2 feet off the starting line...

I hope you weathered Fiona ok?
We got lucky. No power for 5 days and 50 feet of fence knocked flat but there was major destruction all around us. 90 streets blocked with trees and downed light poles and we're not a big city. Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island got it even worse than we did.

Finished the front brakes on the '97 with two new rotors and the rest of the new pads... It's a good thing I had a spare rotor though, the outer wheel bearing on the drivers side was near dry and the rollers were discolored and starting to shed metal... so I repacked the bearings out of the spare that looked fine and put them in... I'm feeling too cheap to get new bearings, this brake job is already at $150 in parts...

The rear timing chain was clicking, so I pulled the intake and the right valve cover to see what was going on. Fortunately, the cassette was not broken, so I put in a new tensioner and now it sounds like it should. The other good news is the top of the head looked really good, so it just confirmed that this engine has been cared for pretty well over its life.
