I recently went back to the Arkansas property to help my dad get organized up there. I found an old 4 wheeler, slowly being covered with vines. Battery was obviously dead, but after draining the old gas and refueling with new(er) gas, it fired up after just a few kicks. So with that, It needs some other parts and stuff. I noticed the handle bars have slop and may need a bushing or something in there. Pops bought it new in 1997 and still has the owner's manual under the seat. The red plastic is faded pink and the med flaps are nowhere to be found. the clutch and brake cables are stiff and hard to move, but the DO move.

our family farm has a 91 Fourtrax 200 2wd. It has been used and abused.....We beat it up pretty good as a farm wheeler. I have not checked the oil or changed it. lol don't know if anyone else in the family has. we bought it new in 91. Those old Hondas are tough wheelers!

It's definitely a well built machine. Motor runs good, and pulls strong. Just need to get it where it's safe to drive so I can teach the kids how to 'almost' kill themselves.

Anybody got a good source for ATV parts. This rig has the original tires, all the cables ore locked up or snapped. I don't think it's ever spent a night or day covered. Everything is dry rotted or locked up. Runs good but has to be kick started. Not sure if the battery is bad or the solenoid is locked up.

Believe me, you do not want to see this thing as is. IF I can find a decent source on parts, I will do a build thread on it. But I'll see what I can scrounge up.

All I got for now is it still in Arkansas, in a hotel parking lot, sitting on the trailer, waiting to be hauled back to Tallahassee.
I have it under a tarp in the backyard, now. It needs some TLC for sure

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Partzilla would have everything that hasn't been discontinued.

Discontinued stuff your at the mercy of ebay & junkyards.

You'll find the best deal on tires and seat cover from ebay.

Conveniently they made the TRX300 from '88 through I think '01, I know because I have an '89? I got an ebay starter for cheap, you can get universal starter relays and just put the Honda connector on (look on amazon). I haven't tried to source cables but I can't imagine they are too hard to find aftermarket, I broke the clutch cable on my 350x a couple years ago and found one on the shelf at the ATV shop...

I'd wheel the crap out it. Might even through a deer on the front rack just for looks. :p
