front and rear rubbed and had to cut to fit. I do like a lip on my wheels, I dont care for a FWD flat faced look personally so it was worth it to me.

Does anyone know what wheels these are? The center cap looks like it says "Ford" but I'm not sure if these are Ford rims...

the grey-t escape
They look like mazda rims to me, from the era of when they were the same as a ranger except for bedside body panels, grille, (maybe?) hood and wheels. Funny how the mazda version of a ranger is more $. Same driveline, most of the parts the same.

Early to mid 70's Cragar Mag Master staggered slotted rims 14x7 front Mastercraft Avenger GT 215/70R14 14x8.5 rear Mastercraft Avenger GT 235/60R14. Aftermarket Ebay chrome center caps. Rims came with one original center cap but I cannot find a set, also used for identifying rims. If any one has some of these snap in old cragar center caps let me know. 1990 Ford Ranger Supercab XLT stock ride height. Q

the grey-t escape
Heres a oddball tire/rim combination. Stock 2wd 1994 ranger longbed with
2006 steel wheels from a chevy hhr, 16x7 with 215/60/16 summito ice edge tires. 1.654 offset (42 mm) with 1” thick bolt pattern adaptor (110mm to 4-1/2) and 3/8” additional spacer (-in the 4-1/2 pattern) for a total thickness of 1.375” or 34.9 mm. So my adapter and spacer almost equals the rim offset.
Why? you may ask, Well my winter wheels on the ranger are 2009 bridgestones, while a excellent tire and theres plenty of tread left, the ageing of the rubber has caused them to just not be “grippy” like they should be, on wet pavement they will spin like im on ice, My winter beater hhr had 2 year old snow tires on a extra set of stock hhr rims. Rather than buy new tires for the truck or get new 16” rims that would fit the ranger I found adapters on amazon that would allow me to use the gm wheels on the ranger, and for only about $300 for everything I needed vs whatever new tires or rims would of been, Id guess over $400 either way. Yes they are smaller than either size Id normally run (235/75/15 or 225/70/15) and slightly smaller than the stock size my truck originally came with (225/70/14). I also originally had 3.45 gears, I now have 4.10 This current combination has me running about 2400 rpm @55 mph. The ride is a little more rough with it being a lower profile tire, Ive only had them on a few days, I think they will be pretty good in the snow, at least I wont care what the road salt does to these rims.
