Does spending money on it count as doing "anything" to it?
Well, I don't buy flowers or candy for it, but I have been known to pick up some Turtle Wax and some microfiber towels.
Mine has been parked for over two years ,now. The last thing I bought for it was a V8 Explorer donor. I "plan" on putting tires that hold air on it so I can maneuver it into a better position, so I can actually work on it. It broke a valve spring and i fell into the TRS rabbit hole.
You gotta be careful. Next thing you know, you'll be swapping axels, putting disk brakes on the back, lifting it, and putting on a new coat of paint.

Buying stuff for your Ranger isn’t technically doing anything to it. It’s more like planning on doing something to your Ranger.
Those lift blocks are a pain, but that belongs on that other thread.

My buddy's Ranger has bird poop on it too!
Gas jumped 20 cents/gallon overnight and now most stations nearby are at about $4.50/gallon. Good reason not to do anything to your Ranger. Doing anything is getting expensive.
