Headliners interchange? Gen2 to Gen 1 Supercab?

My son’s 88 SC STX doesn’t have a headliner board in it. Can the 2nd gen’s (92-96) headliner fit in an 88Supercab?

My 87 Ranger was a bare roof when new. I found an correct color 89 in the yard with all the roof and behind the seat pieces and incorporated it, no problem. Did this in 1993, it is still hanging well, looks like it was stock in my truck.

I am getting ready to install a correct color 94 Explorer headliner in my 87 BII ..)

My main concern is that here in NorthEast PA there are very few if any square body rangers around. The headliner was removed from the truck and it is bare shell overhead currently…

I just checked, no Headliner for your year, but they do have them for the earlier 90s.
