Looking for part numbers or good replacements for the shocks on my 2wd '01 Ranger Edge.

If you look on eBay, you can get the part numbers for bilsteins and then Google for the cheapest prices online

Digging around in another similar thread I found a web site that says these will fit my '01 Edge.

If torsion bars, order for 4wd. I went with Bilstiens for some light off-roading. Couldn't be more pleased. Got 'em from ebay. Least expensive I could find - on the web or locally.

Another +1 for Bilstiens. Check Amazon returns, I picked up a few over the years for ~$20

The Bils do pretty good on the road but our tastes in comfort probably differ. I like a stiffer ride. Stock shocks were too squishy but not enough reason to replace until then. Money was better spent elsewhere for the time being. I think you'll be pleased.
