Weight, age, and how rough an individual has been on their body will dictate how hard those are to get over 😅 its hilarious seeing Clarkson or may trying to get into or out of something with a cage in it.

those don't look like they'd be too bad to get over regularly, but i've never tried to get into a low caged car either. Mine have to go straight across per ultra 4 rules, which can be pretty annoying. this is just a race car right? not going to drive it around at all?
It's going to be a driver. I don't have the time or budget to actually race the car on the regular, and I'd like to be able to daily drive it. I'll take it to the track days at my my local track, but that's about it. It'll have AC, radio, etc

I cut most of the structure out of the unibody, including the doors, so I wanted it to be somewhat safe in this day and age of 5,000lb SUVs running red lights. I've been referencing various safety rules like the SCCA time trials, but I probably wouldn't pass a tech inspection

That's some pretty awesome workmanship. You must have a well set up shop.

Clean too. I get pine needles and crap because the garage door doesn't seal well. :(

If you are unfamiliar with this product it's called "duck tape", it's a tape that you put on stuff like perhaps a big gap in a garage door. Then pine needles don't come in.

Actually its getting off my lazy ass and putting a new rubber seal on the bottom of the door. Plus I'm getting ready to buy a new door so I will get a new one that way...

Yeah I've put a lot of work into getting my garage setup so it's easy to work in with the tools all organized and with nothing sitting on the floor, so sweeping is easy too. A clean and organized work space makes a big difference!

Got frustrated with trying to make the second half of the transmission tunnel so I switched gears and cut out the radiator support and put a removable piece in it's place

How do we convince you to put the 2.3 EB in that thing? Besides pay for it for you lol.

Eeh its pretty close but I don't think it would last getting fed 21 psi on 87 octane for long lol

Yeah any variation of the 2.3 Ecoboost would be a bolt in swap, and the transmission, rear end and frame are all setup to easily handle 400hp. The 2.5 in there now should be good for around 200hp. My plan is to get the car running and driving, and then either build and turbo the 2.5, or just buy an Ecoboost and bolt it in.
