You can't travel backwards in Time even though it starts with a "T"
You are always traveling forward in time

Physics can be frustrating

Time is not constant though, as Einstein said "the speed at which time passes solely depends on which side of the closed bathroom door you are on"

100 a year with ring, adds more or unlimited storage, also lifetime warranty on ALL ring products you own / register, as well as 10%off at ring
edit, storage is extended to 60 days, plus a few more bells and whistles in app i forgot to mention
I have 4 spotlight cams and a Ring doorbell with unlimited recording and don’t pay anything for service? What does the $100/year get you?

I've run Nest for five years. Two cameras out front plus their doorbell camera. I have one out back on the lanai. I plan to add two more for the sides of the house.

Notification is only required if the person being videoed has permission to be on your property, i.e. at a business or "public" area

At your home or on private property no notification is required since there is no expectation of privacy when you are trespassing, lol
But "Protected by video surveillance" signs can be a deterrent to casual thieves or "lookers"

Technically if your home cameras can "see" sidewalks and streets, public access areas, there should be a sign, but now-a-days that's overlooked and these security videos are used in court cases, criminal and civil

How does this apply to the government? For instance traffic cams or more specific red light cams. Around here there are no signs or notifications that cameras are in use and they are not easy to see unless you know where and what to look for.

So if I got a ticket for running a redlight and the evidence was the camera footage, wouldn't that be inadmissible in court since I was in a public area and the camera was not posted with a sign?

:dunno:

No, it falls in to Public areas where there is less expectation of privacy, but courts can rule some of these types of video as inadmissible but they usually are admissible as a "public good", like cops hiding behind bushes with radar gun, lol
Its becoming more acceptable to have dash cams and street cams, and these are often used in court cases now-a-days

The common thread is that its YOUR CHOICE to be in a Public area, so you are voluntarily giving up the expectation of privacy

If you get a picture in the mail and a fine of say $100 for running a red light
Then just send them a PICTURE of $100 and say paid in full :)
Doesn't work but its funny, lol

Some states they do have to have a sign posted if they are using speed cameras or radar guns in the area/ road.

I’ve heard that the argument that you can’t face your accuser and there is no due process with light cameras. I am in no way a lawyer or legal scholar, so that argument may be completely false and won’t help you in the least bit.

I just try my best to not run a red light so as not to get a ticket in the first place.

Let the universe take you where it will !!!
They have cameras all over around here but got sued over redlight tickets, so now they are there to scare out of towners. So there is a precedent of courts agreeing that they are not acceptable evidence.
