FIFYyanked the radio out and the center bezel that surrounds it. hopefully will be able to fix the cigarette lighter mount that broke last year, and maybe replace the drive belt in the cassette player so I can kick it like 1977 again and play tapes... or at least so the cassette adapter will work so I can play my music from my phone...

77 would still be 8 tracks...FIFY
Wait...you're not old enough to have owned 8-tracks! Get out of here you imposter! There was also no guarantee a song would fully end on one side. You couldn't rewind them, they constantly clicked and sounded awful, and they melted in your glovebox for some reason...
God I miss 8 tracks...
Your dog had a house in the family van?I don't remember having too much trouble with them. Dad fixed up an 8-track player that sat on the dog house in our Plymouth van. Speakers were under the front seats. That was an awesome vehicle for family trips. I had the front bench seat and my brother got the rear bench. The dog wandered around and spent time with each of us. We went all over the place pulling a Starcraft pop-up camper. Those were the days.
My childhood may have been in the 80's but my toys were from the 60's...Wait...you're not old enough to have owned 8-tracks! Get out of here you imposter!
