My credo
Low range in Nova Scotia on YouTube!
I don’t see a “built it yourself “ option in the poll ? Don’t even have the 02 home yet but I’ll crank the bars up max and then probably cut the fenders to fit 35’s.
Or.....I might get some fabrication ideas once it’s home.

Yea, I got (almost) zero negative travel, equelized left & right. Lost a few turns on one side below the maximum "cranked" position to level the tire to fender clearance. Coilovers soon. No more cement truck.

Merry Christmas all

New keys and shackles. Also put some new Rancho 2 inch shocks. Didn't want to go too crazy because it'll be used to tow a small trailer for my business this summer.

3" Keys, 2" shackles, longer shocks.

Edit: Been running this setup for awhile now with 32" tires on stock wheels and am very happy with it.Ranger II.jpgRanger.jpg

How does the front end feel? I'd do the same thing, but I'm worried about the cement truck feeling. Real sweet truck. A keeper!

I got new keys and taller shocks for it. Its up a couple inches and drives really nice. Probably better than stock.

A little stiffer than stock, but livable IMO. I reinstalled the preload bolts to the original length as recommended, but wound up backing them off a couple of turns to soften the front a little. Even doing so did not significantly decrease the ride height.

The coilover shocks showed up, now with some 800lb/in Eibach springs & extended eyelets on the way. Will be running Shawn's adapter kit. The T-bars will be gone. Soon finally. No more cement truck.

Not familiar with this, but it sounds interesting. Sources? Expensive? I really don't think our truck rides that bad, and I have 3 other full size Fords in the driveway to compare it to, two of which are lifted. I'm pretty new to T bar Rangers, more experience with TTB and straight axle lifts.

Hey yall,

Yea this ranger had a terrible ride bottoming out when I got it. Put new Rancho 5000's on it, cranked the T-bars up 3/4" & fixed the bottoming issue. However the "cement truck" ride and non linear pogo stick feel I can do without.

Coming soon, the lower ball joints, upper A arm (upper ball joint), the coilovers with this conversion kit......https://www.therangerstation.com/Magazine/winter2017/ford_ranger_coilover_conversion_overview.shtml

His name is Shawn

sbeau1@atlanticbb.net

He answers emails usually same day.

I'll post a pic when I'm done. For more detailed info as I do this here......https://www.therangerstation.com/forums/index.php?threads/07-level-ii-yellow-submarine.189474/

4WD shipped my shocks in the display box, damaged the tension nuts. Waiting for 4WD to get back to me. Should have Shawn's brackets delivered in a couple weeks.

Okay cool. So it's the same guy from the thread I linked above (ME00stepside). I was curious if there were others producing them.

Exactly. Don't know if anyone else is doing these. I do know of a couple that did in the past. I'll be receiving Shawn's kit in a couple of weeks. 4WP did FINALLY send me a new FOX coilover hardware kit.
