Has anyone heard of this combo in an engine swap. I have an 84 Standard Cab short bed with a 2.8 that needs help. This engine would produce the HP and the torque to make the truck run pretty fine.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
....what he said.

The close ratio trans of the s2k would be way better than the garbage 700r4.

Bolt a Honda to a Chevy and put it in a Ford.... got to be a special place in Dante's Inferno for that sort of crime against humanity :p:p:p:p:p

Actually the s2000 came with a F20C and F22C1 but they bolt pattern might be the same.

That would be almost pointless? K series have potential for decent n/a power... but would be cheaper and basicly bolt on to do 2.3 turbo.. and would smoke n/a k series. I use go to track with my boy who had n/a s2k with 50shot nitrous and I'd always beat him even if I short shifted a gear or 2!

Yes that would be a different swap..... y the chevy trans though?? I'd think it would be easier to just make K series fit the ranger trans... just my 2 cents.... 700r4 suck balls any way lol I have to rebuild them all the time crappychevrolet-medown

Is there a gm adapter already?

If that is the case...then seems a decent package....though a th350 ......or 400 or 4l80 would be on tap for 400 plus hp

Am I blind? I don't see a GM adapter for the K24 there.

Got it. Somehow I only saw a fraction of the list the first time.
