Received a Letter in the mail today from Ford. No Sticker, Just a simple short note to place in my manual.
This Only pertains to Rangers with Push Button Starting. Its a reminder that the truck is programed to turn it self off if the engine has been idleing for an extended period of time.

Back in 1998 or 99, I bought a 93 Thunderbird for parts. Instead of dealing with draining the gas tank... I started the car and left it running all night. It sat in front of my shop and idled for over 30 hours before it shut itself off.

I too got that notice. I found out about the 30 minute shutdown during the Isaias power outage a couple weeks prior. Was down the street to get internet and the truck told me it would shut off in 30 seconds.

See how smart these vehicles are? It used to be that the truck would just quit. No 30 second warning at all. Man! What a great feature!!!!

The Dealer prints the info on a piece of paper and sticks it in the owners manual. Got mine last Friday. I am so happy!
