that looks like a S10 stepside bed. never seen that done before
It is. It's why i posted it. I saw this truck and its owner, one day, and asked about the bed. He said it was a total PITA, he said the wires were a head ache to figure out

the grey-t escape
all he would have to do about the wiring is use a trailer tail light converter, im assuming its a ranger with seperate turn and brake lights, a trailer converter spliced in would let the conventional S10’s bulbs work normally. Im surprised the fuel fill lined up enough to work. Be interesting to see underneath, the S10 frame isnt as level as a ranger chassis and some sizeable spacers would be needed up front by the cab. gotta wonder if he would get pulled over if a cop happened to run his plates, I hope he at least took off any chevy badges or decals from the tailgate.

iirc it still has the golden bowtie on the tailgate. I asked him if it was a S10 with a ranger cab or ranger with a chevy bed. He said " chevy bed, pain in the ass, especially the wires for lights" quote. Im not sure this is the same, exact one, but how many white rangers whith S10 beds can there be in this town?
