My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
A 4.8 or 5.3 ls can be snagged from facebook/craigslist all day for 250 in maine. Spend a grand or so on turbo crap, get it tuned, and have a reliable 800hp.

I'm not opposed to running GM stuff, but that is just about twice the max power that the drives I can afford can handle.

I had a gut feeling you also owned a Civic. Now I have proof.

Accord actually! And tbh, say what you will about the G23 Honda built, but dollar for dollar, it's difficult to produce the power they will for $500 in such a small package.

When I figure out how to make a boat FWD I'll call you, PJ! ;missingteeth;

Half throttle is max torque! Or I could get a big block & put a two barrel on it. The local Ace Hardware (you heard me) has engines. 460 built and ready to go is... $3500, if I remember right.

How about 5 PSI worth of love? Turbos and marine engines go together like fine wine and cheese. Mild boost won't get too hot for the engine bay and is apparently easy to tune if you have a Quarter Horse or something similar. If you have big gears on the drive you'll be able to run a pitch or two larger with both injection and boost.

If you want it this season, I have an EFI DP 2.3 head, dual plug DIS, upper & lower intake, throttle body & sensors, fuel rail, and a few misc. EFI sensors left over that I'd be more than happy to cut you a cheap deal on. I don't have the harness or computer however.
Hmmm..... I did kick around the thought of boost... I don’t know much on how that all works, something I’ll have to learn at some point. Might take you up on the offer of parts...

Heard you died. ?
Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

That said, I shot you a text like 2 weeks ago and never heard back...

Past few months have been a little rough but things are getting better.

I need your Ace Hardware.
Weirdest thing I ever saw when I moved out here. Ace back in Oregon sells light bulbs and paint brushes. They sell that too, but it looks like a Dick's, Home Depot, neighborhood speed parts shop, and Ace all had one big orgy in front of a bunch of transient folk. Spokane for ya.

Go with one of these.
Ho Lee Fawk :icon_surprised:1000 HP Subaru-lookin reversed boxer diesel for Bradleys!!! How long before the dodge boys get their grubbies on this and swap one?

They are experimenting with 3 cylinder and 5 cylinder engines for passenger vehicles already.

Spokane? Im gonna have to ask the one guy who transferred out here about this store. They are all privately owned and operated and can do and order from almost anywhere they like.
