I think my engine block is split, I would like to change it but here in Europe it's hard to find an engine. I find a 4.0 L to explorer 1997 and a motor 2.9 L cosworth (24 valve and multipoint injection) it's the same block motor but with other cylinder heads as the photos here are the diagrams. Do you think there is a way to rewire this engine?

Yep. It just did.

That is literally the sexiest engine Ford ever built. Just look at it. Like a newly single redhead not looking to date, but looking to fall in love. Doesnt get any better.

If you decide against using the cosworth, I will absolutely buy it from you. ??

Also, yes, from my reading the BOA is essentially a drop in, with a slight modification to the engine mounts. You may not be be able to clear the AC compressor on the steering box.

If I recall correctly, the BOB will require some modifications to the wiring as its controlled by the EEC-V computer.

But its lonely and boring in there! There's nothing to discuss about engines that work fine all the time. :icon_rofl:
Idk, lots of threads over there starting with "I need more power..."

Your motor mounts will he slightly different. I'm not sure if the European 2.9 is drilled and tapped in the same spot as the European one for the engine mounts.

The USA alternator and power steering pumps are different as well.

Air conditioning will not fit from the European engine.

The top end fits just fine. This is my 1988 Ranger.
