I beilive jim sold it some years ago. it was a gen 1 reg cab, , think it was a 302 V8 , D35 front/8.8 rear. Id think there would still be pictures of it around.

Why are you morons not shouting "ANY RANGERS OWNERS UP IN THIS BITCH?" as soon as you walk in the place??

I was really hoping I'd finish up my V8 truck TFI conversion early today and I was thinking of heading that direction, but I didn't finish it up until shortly before dark. I want to get some drive time on it to see if my mod is a solid one..

Ok.
Being stranded because of a faulty homemade electrical connector would suck. No buying parts to replace that.. I'd have to pull the distributor and have a good one (with TFI) to install, which I don't have at the moment..

Test miles are going to be important on this one.

Let's face it. This entire debacle is due to shitty Ford ignition design which YOUR 2.9 also shares...

At least mine is relocated.

So, it's looking like I got 2 reliability mods on you. No eggshell head 2.9 AND a relocated TFI..
