- If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
Every time I mess around with a foreign I am so glad I also have a domestic. This time it’s my 2006 Kia Sedona. Why in the hell is the metal part of the brake line coming out of the caliper routed directly across the caliper mounting bolt? There is approx 1/2” clearance and you cannot get a socket in there and my 14mm racheting wrench is not long enough to get any kind of torque on the bolt. I had to use 14mm box end and a hammer to break loose a bolt that should only had about 20ft/lbs torque on it.
Other problems that came up that I am going to blame on les schwab.......
2 lug nuts were cross threaded and had to be snapped off.... blaming it on les schwab because the wheels have not been off since I bought new tires back in November. So now, still fighting with my permanent copd from having fought off lung cancer (this time manifested as pneumonia) I have to replace 2 lug stud.... on this car it looks as if I have to take the whole hub assembly off to instal the new studs.
