Hey, ATX I checked out your build pics. I like the flat bed. And thought I'd throw this out there in case you haven't saw them. I bought one just to clean up the underside of my truck. Awesome quality eBay part# 151444438467

ATX thanks for posting pics. The Tri-Y's look great in there!

But again that is an I-Beam Frame, they are completely different that an SLA frame when it comes to squeezing in headers, hence why all the drama surrounding OBX/TMH/FMS options all the time.

Still hoping someone can produce some pictures of any other modified brand or totally custom headers in a 98+ SLA frame. :)

I would get those OBX Headers as quick as possible. No telling when they will disappear like the last time. They are as close to fitting that your are going to find, rwrenzing has some detail as to what it takes to get the AFR's to work with TMH's in the other post you hit. Just a little grinding and I imagine it will be the same with the OBX's as they are knock off's. Don't wait, you are going to end up with a fab only option.

If anybody has some old foxbody long tubes for cheap I'd buy them and post pics of what I have to do to make them fit. I'm going to buy some either way I just hate the idea of buying brand new headers just to possibly cut them up

just picked these up for $60. Passenger side is more than likely gonna need some tubes moved around. Luckily, 3 out of the 4 tubes slip out. But driver side appears very close to fitting as is, won't know till the motors in the truck. But the thing to keep in mind is my steering shaft is moved way over torwards the shock tower on an edge frame. And it's getting a 351w so the motor has to sit a tad bit higher for steering rack to oil pan clearance. In a few weeks when the motor is completely bolted and sealed up and the trucks back on the tires I'll try and update.

This is gonna be interesting, can't wait to see how close they are to fitting for you. Please do keep us updated on the project.

I hope to get some time in the next few days to work on mine.

It's been weird on the net lately. I saw those pics the other day and now don't see them. My browser has been laggy as hell lately too. FF Ver. 52
Similar pic problems on other site as well.

It's tempting to just buy a set of those and be done with it but I gotta see how close these long tubes are for peace of mind lol
