Looked up the width of 58.5" for the Ranger rear axle and then verified it on a 31 spline rear axle.

Anyone have a comment on using the EB Front Axle in a SAS 03 Ranger ?

I would personally narrow a HP full width dana 44 but that's just me. BrayD narrowed his to EB width and PlumCrazy HAS a EB low pinion D44 in his truck. Seemed to work perfect on both accounts.

Hey, wondering, will the high pinion interfere anywhere under the truck ?

Wonder also, what is the minimum lift when doing a SAS on and 03 Ranger ?

I'd say minimum of 4" lift with some massaging to the crossmembers. HP does interfere a little more than a LP does. Like I've said before, take a look through BrayD's build thread (titled Daily Doubler build) It'll give you an idea of what you're going to be getting into (minus of course installing the sleeves in the frame for a steering box and removing all the necessary components of the IFS suspension)

My 31 spline rear is about 1" wider over all than my EB44. Not even noticeable.
