The OP was trying to buy a tranny from me months ago, kept on namedropping his uncle.

My question is..... why don't uncle bob hook him up with this stuff?
He did the same thing to me trying to buy axles.
Then tells me he can pay "$300 CASH!!" for a matching set of 44/9 locked.
I just ignored him after that. $300 wont buy u a locker for one....
I really think hes a troll.

I have been doing my homework And came up with 6.44 gears to be street legal also brakes on the axles can be behind the wheels OR Up on the pinion With the Pumpkin. Now in order to make it street legal I CAN NOT Run anything bigger than 44. So I WILL Be running 41 inch tires And for racing 46 inch Firestone Agriculture tires from Bigfoot 1.I know you guys been pissed off at me here lately and to settle things straight My GREAT Uncle WILL Be helping me on the build. So I can get this done the RIGHT Way instead of screwing something up that CAN NOT Be fixed.I thank you guys for helping me and I can,t WAIT To start on the build.I WILL try to post pictures of the build.

Im not pissed, just think your full of S # ! T.

Any dot approved tire can be street legal. 44's, 49 IROC's 54 boggers.

Ourverson is the only company that i know of that makes gear sets for a rockwell, and they are BIG $$$$! 4;90 & 6:72. They are $1200 each,,,,, you will need 2 sets.

In Oklahoma you CAN NOT run pinion brakes, or full hydraulic steering.

I still say your a troll.

What on gods green earth does gear ratio have to do with legality. Most states say you cannot run pinion brakes. How are you figuring street legality of tires? There are no street tire laws in Missouri. However you better figure out how to get a working parking brake.

Interesting fuel pump dilemma. So big block V8's have larger fuel pumps...which means that that have better, stronger brakes, too!
