Damn! For a thread that I thought would get flamed from everyone on TRS after the TTB comment....it ended up with some pics of great rigs!

Cant mention the following 4 items on TRS without getting flamed...
1) Removing Cats
2) CAI's
3) TTB being crap
4) Beadlocks

Off road TOTM comes with special privileges. My B2 works good for exploring and daily transportation.A lot of guys like running over big rocks the big solid axle really does good.If I had full widths here I would know every CHP by there first name.No real crime in my town so they tend to get real thorough.

Wow mabey this is why I stay mostly in the extreme suspension section of this forum.
Hmm yeah all 18 posts of wisdom you have.

If you want to do a SAS go bigger (35's or 37's) or face the fact that you should stick with a TTB.

But you probably heard a few people who didn't know what they were doing and were misinformed on how capable the TTB can be.

Just because I'm new to this forum doesn't mean I'm new to building a capable offroader. I know there's nothing wrong woth the ttb but its not what I want.

For what you would spend on sas get a good steering setup and some xj or eb coils and run 33's then do some upgrades to a d35, jeep hubs, tack the u joints, lock it and run 35's. Seems to work well for 4x4junkie

problem with 33's is that they arent going to give you much clearance with FW axles, youll end up dragging your centre sections like anchors.

Camshaft's another one on 37"s

84EB's on 38"s

ufospy's on tractor tires (54"?)

BONES' on 38"s

bronchoII's on either 35"s or 37"s

Beanmachine7000's on 35"s.....that might be narrowed.

Shane M's, on 40"s

walnuty's, no idea what size tires.

Finally, cammeddrz's looks to be on 33"s

throttlejockey689's also looks to be on 33"s

And another, buddyayres' is on 33"s

Well shit, there are quite a few more FW SAS BII's then I thought, just on TRS. I'm sure there are more on Pirate.

i'd say run whatever tires you want. it's your truck. you'll learn from the mistakes eventually. i'd get a good, solid front diff cover though. you can always add the 35's later anyways.

some nice rigs you found there jester

Thanks for all those pictures. That's all that I wanted. I know and understand that 33's are "too small" for fw sas but I just wantedtovsee what it looked like so ill know if I should even run the set of 33's I've already got. Ultimately I'm going bigger than 35"s so noboby needs to worry.
