They shouldn't change the body style at all. The Gt looks amazing in the current body style. All they need to do is update the engine a bit, i dont know what they would replace it with, but it should something cooler than a supercharged 5.4.

I think they need a way to improve the fuel mileage with the thing as well though, I just watched the Top Gear episode where they were driving through some place and all they did was make fun of how if you drove it bad you could maybe squeeze 70 miles out of a tank.

Actually tha car Honestly looks alot lke the GT90 concept ford did a while ago.

they should power it with this motor!!!!!!!

720 hp (537 kW;730 PS) quad-turbocharged V12 engine DOHC, the exhaust of which was claimed to be hot enough to damage the body panels, requiring ceramic tiles similar to those on the space shuttle to prevent this.

I really don't see the GT90 in any off them except maybe the head lights of the one. But I do see the shelby GR1. An why not shelbys not going to build it the GT would look good. Only thing is the GR1 is front engine.

Yeah now that I am looking at it on an actual computer screen it doesn't really look like a GT90...

That GR1 looks kind of like it was styled a little like an Aston Martin too me.

I dont really like any of the designs i prefer the original and then the last gen second. I think the original gt40 needs no refinement its a classic striking sexy design its timeless. It can still make teenage hearts stir 45 years after it debuted thats just my opinion

you realize that the gt and the gt40 only share appearance, absolutely nothing else is even remotely similar... and that ford legally can't even use the gt40 name anymore? even though they did call the gt's concepts and prototypes in the early 2000's the gt40

like i said though, it's not the same car in any way shape or form, other than that the resemblance, which is actually not that close if you actually look at it, and the mid engine setup

How is it that ford cant legally use the gt40name ever again? They've killed lots of names just to bring them back a few years later.

They say the same thing about the new focus, but in all reality if you remember Ford used to own Aston Martin. So I think it's ok if they resemble a little. Just my .02

Why in the world do you need 4 turbo chargers to make 720 hp? You can get that naturally aspirated.

I'm not a big fan of supercars.... or a big fan of the Lincoln namesake.... to me the lincoln has always been a step behind the Cadillac and this GT thing would sure outclass anything GM has in it's class...... but why? that's like going bowling and then sombedody nukes the end of the lane and goes see my ball is better, strike bitches "and then his face melts of mid sentence" it seems like a pointless mines bigger than yours plot.
