It'd be sweet if they did the Ford GT again maybe this time as an Ecoboost coyote 5.0.

Don't vote Democrat.
It'll go as a Lincoln and I'll tell you why:

Ford badly wants to put one up Cadillac's ass for their 'sports' line-up. This would do that in spades, and likely wouldn't be challenged by Government Motors for the foreseeable future.

ford doesn't need to 1-up gm, they are better than that, and they know it

looks like crap, its a low-cut, deep riding version of the GT-40, think of something new? I say Lincoln.

In some aspects I would agree, but when comparing Lincoln to Cadilac, Cadilac wins. Lincoln right now is closer to Buick than it is Cadilac. Lincoln needs a rear wheel drive platform.

I see where you guys are going with this, when I think of cadillac I think of spinning rims and big stereos, and cruising. (I don't like any of the V series so I just erase it out of my mind) When I think of Lincoln I think of old people and the mall. Lincoln really needs this, Ford has a 800hp Super Snake give the GT to lincoln.:icon_thumby:

Both brands make the think one of two things about the owner:

1. Young people with too much money and wanting to show off.
2. Old people with too much money that want a caddie or lincoln for the reasons old people with money always have.

I have no apspirations to own either brand.

I don't like it... I think they should have just kept the older body style and gotten rid of the bugs...

I would drive a lincoln but not a caddy, lincolns are basically just spruced up fords and with fords new cars already pretty top notch I would think it could only be improved.

Ford tried selling a high performance car through Lincoln dealerships (Pantera) and the result wasn't good. If Ford can present Lincoln as a performance/luxury brand, then maybe, but otherwise I see this not working out and I vote to just keep it a Ford.
