He said out drag, not drag out. as in hitch to hitch and yank

ok lets get gwaii to hook to him bumper to bumper and let the fool put his money were his mouth /typing fingers are.. or stfu...:icon_thumby:

seriously? a late 70s full size chevy compared against a mid 80's small size ford ranger... apples to oranges.. put that 78 chevy up against a comparable full size 78 ford and see where you get. Or put it a same year S10 against the ranger... also similarly equipped engine wise and see how it goes.

I do know that a 97 Chevy S10 extended cab w/ the 4.3 has more power than my 97 Ranger supercab w/ the 4.0, but I got more torque where I need it. I would probably be able to outpull him in a mud pit, but would probably lose my lunch in an all out drag race.

AJ

You'd be ok. The POS Chevys can't break 90 something due to a limiter. lol

ya,i was just sort of ignoring this thread.

you give them attention and they figure they've won.

Hahahaha. Hard to find it worth giving him the attention when you can beat him without even being in the truck, or on the gas? lol

My moms electric wheelchair could pull that bitch backwards... Chevys suck every one my family has had has been in the shop 10 times more than my ranger, btw was only in there once for body work! Accident oops my dads fault. And we have a 99 chevy 1500 van with a lift for my mom and it has 68,000 miles on it and it's already had the damn heads redone and fouled out 2 sets of plugs and $3,000 worth of a/c shit done to it and every door panel is ductaped on to hold It on.... So I say Chevys suck! Period

I don't even get the original post.

I have pulled out plenty of makes over the years, and plenty of makes have pulled me out.

Good fu*ckin grief I havnt seen you around forever man, whats up? Figured you got married and got your left nut chewed off or something.

The truck is built for mud my gfs dad pulld plenty on full size fords an rangers no problem, I ant bashing all fords justed starting converstation. I like the older ford but none of the new ones. I like every year of chevrolet. It all depends on the drivers of the trucks because both truck are very strong its all on the driver.

There are quite a few very well built trucks in this forum. Several SAS'd, and V8 swaped rigs. A truck that weighs 2/3's of that chevy, with just as much power, and locked will destroy that rig or probably any other full sized for that matter on the trails, or the mud.

Not to be rude, but it sounds like you haven't driven a good 4x4 Ranger....

This is the truck i would give mine up for anyday,1978 chevy 4x4 350 35s 6inch lift... rednecks with ford rangers would be hating me at the mudpit..

My old 89 Ford F150 4x4 with the Dana 60's with a Hipo 390 pushing out 465 hp would blow that junker away. It had a 4 inch lift running 35's. I sold my 89 last summer and I got $7,000 for it. 15 people came to look at it the first two days it was advertised on Craigslist. It was sold to the highest bidder the next day. I guess an old Ford is worth more than a old Chevy truck any day. It had 62,000 original miles on it. Lets see what yours is worth.

Well all we have to base our opinions on, is a crappy little picture. Who knows... It might look like a turd, but it could be bad ass. Maybe if the OP could post a video, it will change our minds. Ya never know....

let me start with your a dipshit. second, your bragging about a truck you don't even own, and 3rd my stock 94 ranger out pulled a late 70s chevy dually, so gtfo
