I was a bad space fan - I was off work that day, but totally forgot to watch the launch on TV.

Nice, I'm a really big fan of the universe and science (I've also got a pretty decent telescope set-up that I should really bring out more often)

Enjoy the launches while you can though, the last Endeavour mission is scheduled for April 19th and the last mission for Atlantis is sometime in the summer.
