Spark Plug change gone wrong :(

I`m pretty sure it has hydraulic lifters you want the cylinder your adjusting on the compression stroke. back out the adjusters on the rocker until you feel lash then tighten it down slowly for zero clearance then another 1 1/2 turns down. Now would be the time to adjust both sides just stick your finger in the plug hole of the cylinder your adjusting and turn it over slow until you feel compression and adjust those two valves. If you havent put the manifold back on yet goop the valleys where the head meet the block with permatex #2 or RTV black to avoid future oil leaks.

Yea ive already installed the intake and i did put some permatex on the valleys but i just tighten down the rockers so hopefully there not too far out. i guess i will know once i crank the truck

Hope you remembered to put all the rods back in in the same spot they came from.

My bad I was thinking early 2.9 if it dont have adjusters on the rockers nevermind.

It didnt have adjusters but a short bolt and a small square block that the rocker sits on. its pretty much either tight or loose, no in between

Hey guys! well i finally got the engine together but i have ran into another issue :( Well i have connected EVERY connection on the engine and have gone over it MANY times but the truck will turn over but no spark is going to the plugs :( Anybody have any ideas of what could have happened or what needs to be done?

I would be looking at cam angle and crank angle sensors to begin with. Then grounds. Is it throwing any codes? Do you have "hot" to the coil?

That.

Also, remember that you have 3 coils, with 1 hot line and 3 grounds that run through the PCM.

Ok guys! i looked it over again last night and i found out that i didn't hook up the connection on the harmonic balancer for the power packs. After i did that it fired up and purrrrrrred like a kitten. Its running good now and i appreciate all that TRS has done for me!
