Since were on the topic of you BSing with the Petersen's guys, Did you happen to talk with Ali about his Ranger? Last I heard of it it was rolled and he had plans to fix it back up even better than before.
I lurk on here quite a bit...just dont post all the time.
For the record, it was only one engine change... Tim Hardy in the Samy was the one who changed and engine on the way to the UA.
Andrew and his Ranger put on a good showing for the Ford guys. He wasnt afraid to tear it up with the rest of them. I hope I get a chance to wheel with Andrew again some day!
I cant wait for my DVD to show up!!
Likewise! I literally just got my company truck (yay!) today, so the ranger will be outta the cold and into the shop for a rebuild as soon as I can get my old mans flatbed project done.
In my defense, I was living up to the ford motto 'Fix Or Repair Daily'
It aint blue, its Cayman Green!
Oh...and that was me
Thanks for the praise, it was a great time and I'd gladly do it again. Shay was there as well, and I will say he flat out worked over my ranger for 90% of the trip... something about a doubler?![]()
Lol, I got to spend an week with the entire mag crew and your the second person to ask me that. He's a great guy, I'd sit back and have a beer while shootin the sh!t with him anyday. He may come across a lil strong as he's the ring leader of a 60+ person circus, if he didn't keep a tight leash on things it would fall apart in a hurry as you can imagine.
