You guys are crazy. I couldn't handle 2.3 with big meats.

agreed. thats a big tire for a 2.3. my 4.0 does good but that engine is a beast. ive always avoided big tires when it comes to 4 cylinders. especially when u hit some thick deep mud. talk about tearin stuff up.

Yes the 2.3 sucks in the mud, gotta stay in low range just to keep the tires spinning.

they lack in power, but i dont worry about tearing anything engine wise up. the 2.3 is a very tough little engine. ive taken mine through some things, and the worst ive had happen is my timing belt slipped once in the mud

yeah i used to have a 4x4 nissan hardbody with a 2.4 4 cyl and it would go thro some stuff with 31's but its not as easy for them to spin the tires as a 6 cyl. still fun tho. i kinda miss that little truck. 20 bucks would fill it up and last me all week. lol
