Ordinarily I'd post this in the WTB section and search through the parts for sale sections. But I've got three friends getting on me about not having my choptop up and going so I can wheel with them.

Problem is, I need a D-35 front pig with 4.10 gears and I'm tired of searching trying to find one. I know they are out there. So I'm asking TRS for help finding one.

I have a complete D-35 here that I'm gonna put in, but the pig has 3.27 gears and I have a complete extra set of shafts from another so I'm good on all the other parts for now.

Gotta get this thing together so I can go show the Jeep guys what wheeling is all about.:icon_hornsup:

I'm willing to pick up if you're close to western PA, or pay for shipping if you're not as long as the price for the pig is reasonable.:icon_thumby:

Why not just buy a set of 4.10 gears and put them in?

Because when I buy a new set of gears, I want to buy a set for front and back axle. I haven't decided what gears to go with (4.56, 4.88 or 5.13) yet and I have not decided if I want to upgrade my rear axle to a disk brake 8.8 or leave it as a drum 7.5. Until I decide on a final gear ratio and what I'm going to do with the rear axle, I don't want to buy a new gear set.

Plus I have no idea how to properly set up a new ring and pinion. I've had a lot of people tell me it's easy and I've read things on how to do it, but I just don't trust myself with trying it on my own, I'd rather have someone show me.

Well, maybe I'll make a trip out to visit my grandparents and swing by to help you set up some gears.

if you only want to go wheeling one weekend, come grab all of the D28 parts I have, They should last you a couple of days...

I have a few extra shafts left yet, but it's an annoying chore to tear things apart to swap an axle shaft. I'd rather have the D-35 in and be able to run it till I have the money to do more to the truck.

true, and it's why I swapped... Even though I got really good at doing it really fast it was still a pain in the ass

Yep, thus I'd like to upgrade so I can put my toy to good use. It was fun driving it around last winter since I could go places that nobody else around here could, lol.
