does it have a carburetor or does have it say 2.9L electronic fuel injection (or something like that) on top of the upper intake plenum?

Ah, it's a 2.8L, common for '85, that's why I had asked.

This is probably what I'd get since it show locations and is specific to your vehicle.

Autozone has manuals or Hayes manuals, but the wiring colors almost never match.
