Whats the best spray can paint that I can use without doing much sanding or having to buy cans of primer. I want something that is very durable & will also prevent any rust.

Those magic products dont exist.

Well your not going to find anything... unless its already halfway decently painted... Sanding and priming and painting are pretty much the onlythings you can do to make it last.

what he said, unless you already hve a rust free good paint base to spray over then you will need to sand grind off the rust, neutralize the rust, prime it, sand again to prep for top coat then your white paint other wise it will only last a few weeks at best

Ok great I was hoping for a wonder paint like Hammerite. I may even check into cost of having it powder coated

either way you still need to do proper prep work or any process will just pop off

powder coating shop also sandblast & they would powder coat entire rack & weld on rectangle tubes to go down into stake pockets for a more secured attachment for $275 My ladder rack only has the angle iron running the entire length of bed & isdesigned to be sandwiched between a canopy. I want stake pocket attchments cause there may be times that I wont want tpo have the canopy on.

Have you looked into doing something like POR-15 on it? POR stands for paint on rust. You can actually buy it in white as well. It actually brushes on I believe, but self levels so you don't see brush marks. This stuff actually bonds with the metal and rust and makes it stronger than original. It's not supposed to chip, crack, or peel. I know this link says engine paint kit, but I'd get something like this if I were you. Just an idea....

There are also similar products like Rustbullet or Rustmort. I hope this helps.
