What is the weight of 3.0 and 4.0 petrol engine used in american Rangers?

I am asking because probaly I will have to change my truck´s Torsion bar. I crancked up but it is in the limit and I am thinking in buy it in US.

Does any factory (like Ironamn for example) make reinforced torsion bars or coil springs over shockers for double wishbone Rangers?

(my engine: International NGD3.0E - 210kg ~420lbs)

Different torsion bars will not make your truck any higher. The suspension travel is what it is.
Sport Trac bars are stiffer than Ranger bars but won't make it any higher.

We get screwed in North America! That is way better. I wish we could get that up hear.

We have a four-door Ranger. It is called a Sport Trac. :D
I'd like that diesel though. I rolled up 170 miles for work today and burned a half tank of gas. Which is pretty good, really. Funny how much gas you save when you're not in a hurry and keep it at 55-65 mph.

Ford and International made a great service here in Brasil: The combination of an excellent best in class diesel engine and a very wide ratio transmission do Ford Ranger the most economy light truck in Brazilian market.

I always do 30,5mpg (13km/L) running at 65mph (~110km/h). Engine at 1900 rpms (my personal record is 33mpg in special conditions (no A/C, only me aboard, cold day etc. etc. etc)

However, at 93mph (150km/h) it fall to 21mpg (9km/L)

City consumption is 20-21mpg.

I get the point.

However I was thinking that a different torsion bar, reinforced for you, americans who ran light petrol engines Rangers can do THE SAME service for me, who own a Diesel ones without need to cranck so much my torsion bars. Hard for your suspension, normal for my use.

Torsion bars in Brasil is too expensive and only find in Ford dealers.

(PS: Pardon my english)
