3" Suspension and 3" Body Lift 2004 4x4 Edge

Well I just finished my body lift to go with the suspension lift and thought I would post some pictures. The tires are 33" General Grabber AT2's and I'm really happy with this truck for being 17 years old. Let me know what you think.

Thanks. The spacers can be bad, but I'm not going wide enough for them to be a hazard. It's just to get the front more stable offroad really.

The toolbox is small so I can haul my motorcycle. Here's a pic of whats in the box though...

Have you checked the difference between the sounds with that open and shut? Just wondering if it muffles it at all.

Yeah it is def. louder open, but when it's closed it makes the horn somewhat legal haha because open it's illegal.

Truck looks nice, but I strongly advise you to not use wheel spacers. I had a pair pull right off the studs and I lost a wheel at almost 80 mph. Luckily I maintained control and nobody got hurt.

Your making this truck a cheap build......your cheaping out in areas IMO. go up, go wide. your going wide using unsafe spacers. Why not just get a set of used 15x10's on 33's...you should just get new wheels that are wider and have less backspace than the stockers..

My thoughts as well. Your truck looks really clean, don't cheap out where it could become dangerous.

i wouldnt say spacers are dangerous there are a few members who have them & use there rbvs offroad regularly, i do agree that correct wheels would be a better choice.

just make sure you have them torqued properly & youll be fine

I appreciate everyone's input. I like the way the rear tires stick out just as far as the wheel well. The fronts are recessed in about an inch so the spacers are only to compensate for that. In my defense in regards to "cheap build"... I'm 17 years old, I work full time, and I'm 7th in my class of 300. I love the stock wheels and have about $6,000 in the truck already. But I do love to hear all opinions because it gives me something to think about (i.e. the wheels).

When I did the torsion key lift, I made sure to beef up all the front end components so it's not really a cheap build.

Does anyone use a throttle body spacer because I'm curious of the power gains..Thanks.

I have heard that the throttle body spacer on the 4 liter does little to nothing. I could be mistaken though, it was a long time ago that I was looking in to it.
