i need to buy some f-150 factory spring perches to lift my ranger. im doing the leveling lift described in the tech forum. but i cant find those things anywhere for sale. and my local ford dealership doesnt have them in stock and wants an outrageous amount for them. please direct me to someone who sells them. i dont care if theyre used or brand new, as long as they work.

part numbers:

From ford, or make you're own out of large steel washers.

ugh. thats what i hear from everyone lol. how big can i go with the washers? as big as i want? as long as the nut still threads on? anyone know what size washers work?

I was able to run an inch of washers with the stock length studs (gives 1.5" of lift)

The washers I used were 3" OD, and I ran a bead of weld down them to hold them all together.

I was hoping for a wheeling trip to southwestern Colorado this summer but was hoping to have a Skyjacker class I lift w/ 32's by that point...not looking like I'm going ot have the money, so this is looking VERY attractive.

Did you have to buy alignment bushings after this or was there still enough adjustment left? I'm thinking the washers in front, belltech shackle in back, and a set of 31x10.50 BFGs on the stock wheels. Maybe a 2" body lift on top of that. Then when I get the money saved up, go ahead with the Skyjacker lift.

what is the inner diameter of the washer?

and do they absolutely have to be welded together?

I think mine had a 7/8" hole in them.

No they don't HAVE to be welded together.

Yes, 1-3/8" I.D. The O.D. is not important, just as long as it's large enough to support the coil perch.

thanks for the help guys. im gonna head over to lowes right now and go shopping for washers :)

the tech article said i can run as much washers as i want as long as i have enough room to thread down the nut. im gonna max that thing out haha

but i really had my heart set on running those ford perches. i just called the dealership and they want $100 for those damn things. thats rediculous. for that price i could buy leveling coils

$100??? WOW, I can get them here for like 15 bucks each

Your Ford dealership must have old stock that is not on the computer as my dealership in Kamloops just searched for these and could only find them in the States for bloody outrageous!!

We've got a couple sets on the shelf here actually.
