Does anyone here want to buy my 2002 Ford Ranger Fx4 Off Road =)

How does that hurt the value greatly in your honest opion ? so that means i would be waiting a long time until someone wants to buy that ranger for $14,000 or even $13,500. Just say some numbers if you want to buy my ranger =)
The wheels are part of what made the FX4 Level II package so unique, that is the only ranger they ever came on. Between that and the stainless steel tow hooks and the twin sticks if it had a manual transmission, the special seat fabric

How was that a pretty bad move ? At the time i did not think that i should keep the origianl wheels and center caps because they were in decent condition they had a small amount of corrision on them.
you could have gotten them refinished, probably for cheaper than what the new wheels cost. Either way it's all water under the bridge now, what's done is done.

IMO I would lower your price to 11k and see if you get any bites. Your price is probably keeping a lot of people from even wanting to reach out. I worked at a ford dealer for 10 years as parts manager, high prices can scare people away and they never take a second look

Just to be clear my ranger does not have the FX4 Level ll package i have the very first year of the FX4 Off Road Package. Please tell me how the stainless tow hooks are better and why are stainless tow hooks better ? I have the 5 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. What are my seats called ? And do my seats have special seat fabric ? What are my seats fabric ? what does a vinyl rear jump seat look like ? I have my $55 deluxe marti report for that ranger.

The 02 FX4 Package was the exact same thing as the 03 Level II Package

I thought of getting those 4 wheels refinished. I bought that ranger for $10,500 in the early part of december 2022. Would $12,500 be fair or still to high of a price ?

No, the 2002 FX4 Off-Road package was not the same as the 2003 Level 2 package. While both packages offered enhanced off-road capabilities, the Level 2 package added features not available on the FX4, according to a Reddit discussion and a YouTube review. For example, the Level 2 included a manual transfer case and specific interior features not found in the standard FX4. And the level 2 package had a bigger rear end.

That would be closer to reasonable, I would still start around 11-11,500

that is correct but the 2002 FX4 package was the same exact thing, in 2003 they came out with the FX4 Offroad (which i had one of) and then the Level 2, which was the same thing as the 02 FX4 as in 2002 you could still get the 4x4 offroad package, in 2003 the FX4 Offroad took its place and then the 2002 FX4 package became the Level II in 2003 and up

How is the same exact thing ? My uncle gary my dads brother was a fire fighter back in the mid to early late 70's in tacoma washington. He sadly passed away at the age of 25 from a gyrocopter accident at 200 feet - RIP Uncle Gary.

Gary...

The factory wheels were Alcoa forged aluminum... the lightest strongest wheels ever put on a Ranger. IMHO... also the best looking factory wheels. They were unique to the 02 FX4 and the following year(s) FX4 Level II trucks.

A low mileage truck such as yours would have been best kept with those wheels. So now you don't have an originally equipped truck.

Again IMHO... It would be worth more having been left original.

If I by some miracle came across a set of them, I would seriously consider swapping the 15" steelies on my grandpas truck. but IIRC the center hub won't clear on the 2wd rangers

Now that im thinking on it i wish i would have kept those 4 original alcoa forged aluminum wheels and had them refinished because i am a stock type of guy and now my ranger doesn't have the factory 4 original wheels on. I wish i would have thought through better is there a way for me to get those 4 original wheels back or are they gone forever ? I wish i didn't buy 4 new wheels and just cleaned up the wheels that came with my ranger from factory but now i have 4 new wheels =)

they are gone forever at this point, especially if you threw them in the scrap metal pile

Discount Tires took the 4 original alcoa forged aluminum wheels and im not sure exactly what they did with them.

they threw them in the scrap metal pile, they were probably melted down and recycled or crushed
