Howdy,
1994 Ranger XL 4x4 reg cab with 168k miles
The drivers side carpet gets soaked when ever we have rain and snow. I can't see where the water is getting in, but I also haven't looked very hard yet.
The ranger is rarely driven so this leakage happens while parked. Probably happens when driving too but I don't think I've ever driven it during a rain storm.

Are there known areas prone to leakage?

Thanks

windshield seal, or door seal. You can go to any glass shop and they usually test your windshield seal for free

Thanks, I'll start with those areas

My floorboards are wet and causing rust. I need a fix I can afford. It looks like my rubber strip around the windshield isn't making a good seal. Also there are rubber plugs on the floorboards and those maybe letting water in. Any help would be appreciated very much.

The newer models are know for the third brake light seal leaking. I would start there.

Cowl drains in the A-pillar area can plug up... water intrusion from the HVAC box results.

Get under the dash and pull the flooring back and inspect for water trails.

I did have a hole on the right bottom corner just below windshield. I put some body filler in it. It drained right were I have rotted on both sides. Right side was worse. I have a great mechanicaly running truck. Just bad rust invading were there is some body problems. I'll track it down. Does every 09 truck have rubber plugs in floor pans? Could I just weld some plates and seal it? The back seat is dry.
