25-Years of TRS. What's Next?

I think one of the site's biggest contribution to the ranger community is the tech library. It was how I found and joined the forum. I'm sure many other people have similar stories.

I think the library could use a little bit of an overhaul. The information in it is great, but the presentation isn't the most intuitive. One of those wiki-type platforms might be interesting. I like the idea of opening up the library to (maybe a subset) of users. I have seen a lot of really good knowledge posted pages into threads outside of the guides section. I believe it has revision control/edit history built in to help track potentially incorrect additions to pages. This may not be the best solution. I would like to hear other ideas.

What does it take to host a gathering under the TRS banner? I live very far from where a big group from the forum gathers. I have 3 people in my area that are apart of this forum and I'm sure there are more that I don't know about. If you don't want that Jim I understand. Its going to be hard when everything that is currently done is on the other side of the country from a lot of active forum members.

I think more events is the way to bring more people in. It just is going to take a lot.

I'm always open to adding to and correcting what's in the Tech Library. We have a forum section for submitting info for articles, but I will also use information in peoples threads if it's brought to my attention.

I'm not against members gathering with other forum members. Especially if it helps us reach mire Ranger owners.

I use to sell windshield banners and TRS vinyl decals. I'll be bringing those back for 2024 in honor of our history. Myself, @snoranger @ericbphoto and @Robertmangrum.rm have windshield banners. They're a great way to attract more Ranger enthusiasts.

I've even considered reinstating TRS Truck of The Month and Truck of The Year for 2024 since that was a big part of our history.

I too would be willing to through to gether some kind of meet and greet as well. I host many trail rides and have invited many Ranger owners I know locally. I've only had 1 show up and now we run the FB site HGA but it's just an adventure site open to all. I'll do whatever I can just let me know.

Also. The pilot’s jack for plugging in the night vision/ heads-up display helmet is messed up. I think Gump tried to use it as a pencil sharpener.

Those of us who make youtube videos and stuff could do some TRS advertising by way of adding the TRS logo/banner to the beginning/end of the video.. like how production/distribution companies have their logo shown in 'real' movies.
