I have a 94 2.3L 5speed. I don't have any pics, yet. I got it 5 years ago and have done little to it. Converted the 60/40 seats into 2 buckets, and ripped out the carpet and put in bedliner. I am getting rid of it soon to get a newer 4.0L ranger. Trying to get information as to what to would be best for the new truck, and for wheeling.

Are you looking to get a "new" 4.0 Liter Ranger (as in 2007 or 2008)?

I'm looking at a 2006 XLT as of now. Up for suggestions if anyone has any. Trying to find something with low miles that can be both a daily driver and for fun.

Welcome to the site. As far as mileage goes on the 4.0, it's just a number. A well maintained engine will keep on going. What kind of "fun" are you talking about, strip or trail?

Being that I am just getting into 4 wheeling, anything. But being that I don't know who owned the truck before me, better to be safe than sorry, not everyone keeps their vehicles well maintained. I'm looking for a good start to build an efficient on and off road vehicle.
