Is the 2010 4 cylinder engine an interference engine? When is the chain to be changed.

I read that the timing chain guides have a plastic component and they can wear out. I was a bicycle mechanic and bicycle chains and motorcycle chains have very short lifespans even if you clean them and re-oil them regularly. It seems that a chain bathed in engine oil lasts much longer. However, I did have an old Slant Six Dodge and the chain was very stretched after only 100,000 miles. I'm guessing chains and oils have improved since the 70's.my 2005 2.3 had 367,000 miles on it when pulled last spring.
everything inside the engine was original, including the rings from #1 cylinder that lost their tension which resulted in low compression and massive oil consumption.
the timing chain & guides had very little wear.
