My credo
Buy it, build it, and drive it like you stole it
Today my Nissan buddy Randy put on his big boy pants. He broke down and sold the Nissan. Then went out and bought this

It's a gem with a mildly built 4.6. Hope he's willing to scratch it at the Badlands haha

Nice, my buddy who has yet to own a Ford truck, (he did have his wife’s old Focus for a little while, so I can’t really say first Ford), just brought home a new 22 F-250 Lariat crew cab today with the 6.7 diesel

You should ask your buddy to borrow 10 or 20k, probably would forget in a few days.

Lol

My neighbor just bought a 2022 F250, crew cab, Fx4, platinum, plow package, gasser.

Only $120k out the door.

Ouch, his was like 75k, it was an order for someone who bought something else instead. It’s a sport package 4x4. He got a new boat last fall and it is a little much boat for his Tundra so he got a real truck. His previous boat spent more time being fixed than on the water, so he traded up. He works doing boat canvas and carpet. Might have to change jobs, lol

Congratulate him on his new truck and let him know, since he now has a Ford truck, he will be allowed to buy some men's clothing and will no longer have to shave his legs.

He's gonna crap his pants the first time he goes to fill that 28 gallon tank.

Yeah, because after about 22gal gas will be running all over for that last 6 to get to 28.

what did he get rid of? an old nissan hardbody, or something like that? the full size nissan truck has more hp and tq than that engine in that f150 so it would be stepping down if he had a titan.

Oh, my dad's has a 28 + gallon tank. I recently had the displeasure of driving his F150 from Arkansas to Florida. 2 tanks of gas that went over 28 gallons. His is a 5.4, if that matters

or maybe I'm just bad at remembering numbers.

Option b

My 02 Supercab shortbed 5 4 I think was 21gal per the manual but in never crammed more than 22 in it.

Whatever I put in his truck was a far cry from the 12-13 gallon tank my Nissan D21 holds.

My F-150 holds nearly 40 gallons… so does the dump truck. Dad’s 79 holds 43 gallons…

I think this guys just wanted to plow his own driveway. He had a pretty nice 1/2 ton Chevy with 4wd offroad package he got rid of.

My old F-150 had dual tanks so I think it was close to 35 gallons, I think the rear was 18g and I know the front was 16g. My Father has an '11 with a 36 gallon tank I think.

I miss those dual tanks. Was expensive to fill them both up, but I didn't need to stop as much to fill them. I have to fill my ranger twice a week with the 19 gallon tank.

i liked having dual tanks on my 85 f150 way more than one tank on anything else i have had. way more useful on trips
