Help with Year Decode

I have a couple trucks that I need help decoding the year- I have used this forum and information, but having a little trouble nailing the year of these 2 down.

F35YRK81978-

thanks- I know the end is sequential numbers- but doesn't seem to match up- please email me-

F35 means they’re 2wd f350 regular cab trucks... the rest of those numbers don’t match any Ford VIN number. Post some pics.

Teal one is 68 to 72. Red one looks like a 76, maybe 77

red one looks more like a 72/73 to me, I agree on the blue one being a 68/72

Both are earlier 67-72 trucks. Bumps tell all.

Red one is the same body as the Teal. Body changed for the 1973 model year. It's also a '68-'72

Did not notice the bumps ides on the red one. You are correct. It is a 72 or 73.

The candy apple red one is a ‘71. It was built in San Jose, CA.
The green one is a ‘69. It was built in Kansas City.

Both of them have 360s.
