1982 F150 Supercab

snoranger dude that a nice truck awesome

Yeah it is... If I ever meet the owner I’ll tell him.
I have the same truck only mine looks like a piece of crap. I’ll get around to restoring it one day.

oh, I thought it was yours.
yeah you can restore
I guess now they are not 'old trucks' they are 'classics'. Even non-xlt non-supercab they are asking half what a new truck costs if it's in any kind of shape at all.
wish I still had my '85 Mustang 5.0L now.

My grandfather bought this ‘79 f350 supercab new and I got it as my first truck back in ‘95... I pretty much have to restore it.

F350 must be a beast. 4x4?

I agree, the dent side supercabs look great. I am kinda partial to the 73-77 grill design though.

The blue F250 I posted had jump seats but a fold up bench was an option as well. I had another one of the same year that had one. I liked the extra storage space that the jump seats gave me. The blue one pictured was an XL, the other one was a Lariat and had a bunch of options.

IIRC, the jump seats were an available option until ‘92.
My SC has the bench seat. I have a 2” lift kit for the seat.

SuperCab long box is a lot of truck.

A friend in high school had one (F-150 4x4); very...exciting...when the arse end is rotating around the front on ice and you're on the back bench.

Along the same lines, people think Excursions, Expeditions, and Suburbans are long vehicles to maneuver. They're big, all right, but four-door crew-cab F–series pickups with the long bed are longer, and so are the wheelbases. The few times I've had to drive one I grazed corner curbs a few times when turning at intersections until I got used to the length and wheelbase.

Four door longbed trucks need 3 states to make a u-turn.

i had an 85 f150 with those small windows on the extended cab and a high output 302. it was a great truck and i drove that sucker all up and down the beach and back and forth to the carolinas from texas. it got taken one night and driven with no oil till it knocked and the cops found it and called me to get it. filled the oil up and put one quart of slick50 and the knocking stopped and it drove on till i sold and that guy probably still drives it. that was the best looking body style on the f150 to me. looked like a bulldog with that big cab and small bed. and it was a lariat in black with dark red accents and a maroon velour interior with power everything.

i like those small back windows because no one could break into them. not like the large ones that pop open. those are so easy to break into when someone leaves their keys in the ignition

High belt Ines, bulging hoods and thick pillars make the newer stuff feel a lot bigger.
